M&G AND EVENTS: PUTTING CLIENTS FIRST
To make sure the M&G Annual Investment Forum was the “must attend” event for investment professionals – an audience who are time poor, bombarded with event invitations, but are looking for insight to help them make portfolio decisions and advise their clients in uncertain times.
Giving investment professionals the chance to write their own event programme by first researching, and then building an event programme, based on the insight from the research.
We then developed a creative platform called ‘the biggest questions’ which took audience participation to the next level by asking their biggest questions as part of the invitation and registration process and then answering those questions as part of the client experience at the event through both digital and speaker presentations.
95% of attendees downloaded the event app to participate, with over 60% of attendees actively submitting questions. And there were over 25 requests for information on M&G funds, with the potential for new business estimated at approximately £100 million.
