Changing the Face of Surgery

Even within the profession, there is a perception of surgery as somewhat stuffy. It’s seen by many to be a bit of a boys’ club. So, to mark the opening of their new state-of-the-art building, the Royal College of Surgeon of England wanted to modernise their image in the eye of their members. They wanted to position themselves as a truly pioneering force - driving the changes that will shape the future of the surgical profession.

Changing the Face of Surgery is a visually arresting campaign that juxtaposes the College’s rich history and past achievements with their current forward-thinking outlook.

It gives the College a fresh and challenging tone-of-voice and brings to life their work, which is driving progress on key issues such as sustainability, diversity, technology and wellbeing.
